Misfits and Reserves - Spring 20 - Batch 1 - SOLD OUT

This Product is Currently Unavailable

Note: There is only one each of all of these apart from the Good Sam’s.  Putting the board in your cart does not assure that you got it, first person to complete checkout is the one who owns it.  Due to the limited nature of these, they are limited to ONLY 2 MISFITS/ RESERVES PER CUSTOMER!

We’ve had a little extra time with the wood shop unfortunately closed for the past 5 weeks so we’ve done a little spring cleaning.  Perhaps I was a little overzealous in saving some reissues for my private stash so I picked out some color doubles and oddities to pass along some goodness your way.

As far as pricing, some are discounted due to blemishes others are above the original price but below current market value.   We want to make sure that the people who really want one get one and they aren’t up on eBay the next day for double the price.   Thank you and best of luck!

Batch 1:

  1. Good Sam Day-Glo, natural ( 5 available ) - During the last production run we set aside 5 and printed them with fluorescent pink and yellow so they really POP!  Price $99
  2. Notch Nose, black dip - A rare board that could possibly not get made again!  Signed and #’d 2/100. Good apart from when you look close the paint has some “gator skin”...precisely why we stopped shrink wrapping the reissues.  Price $86
  3. Notch Nose, natural - This is the original hand shaped sample with a note on tape saying “Good, edges need a bit more sanding” (edges are sharp).  Laser burned and signed but not numbered.  Price $129
  4. Simple Simon, white dip - Signed and #’d 67/100.  All good apart from a little drilling “chip out” on one of the front holes and some real minor “gator skinning” in one area.   Price $86
  5. Jim Gray, Epoxy/Glass (batch 1), white dip -  All good apart from maybe a minor bit of rough wood on the tail.   Signed and #’d 2/100....fun fact, Jinx numbered them while Jim signed!  Also includes 8” sticker of the graphic, only 100 made at Jim Gray’s print shop.  Price $139
  6. Jim Gray, Epoxy/Glass (batch 1), pink dip -  Looks amazing from 8’ away but when you look close there is some “gator skinning” and a few small cracks in the paint.  Signed and #’d 77/100.  Also includes 8” sticker of the graphic, only 100 made at Jim Gray’s print shop.  Price $89
  7. Rebel, Epoxy/Glass, red dip - The graphics look good but there is some chip out on the front hole drilling and a few small chips in the paint towards the tail which could be touched up.  Signed and #’d 42/100.  Price $86
  8. Streetstyle 2, Epoxy/Glass, blue dip -  All good apart from some small paint chips near the back truck.  This board in epoxy/ glass rides amazing if you’re so inclined.  Signed and #’d 67/100.  Price $86
  9. Streetstyle 2, 7-Ply, yellow dip - All looks well - Signed and #’d 1/60 !   Price $86
  10. Umbrella cruiser/ Gnarcake/ Meaning of Life.  Here’s a real oddity!  I was screening a limited number of prints (of a 1986 Thrasher ad) to include with the Meaning of Life boards and O walked into Watson and said “let’s make something!”  He smeared some colorful ink on 5 leftover Jeremy Wray cruiser boards and then I printed them while he and Jim held the screen...I thought they were going to come out f’d up like that but he was yelling “who cares! just do it!”...so the print is a double image and much less than perfect but it’s a beautiful mess and it’s a one-of-a-kind.  $79
