We haven’t launched any new hoodies or long sleeves for this fall/winter, and since people have been asking, I wanted to do something really special to put a cherry on top of Blockhead’s 40-year anniversary. I passed a few ideas by the crew, and this was by far the one everyone is most stoked on.
This is the 2nd Blockhead ad ever dropped from the May 1985 Thrasher magazine, and it was what really got Blockhead noticed. Featuring the first 3 models, just kind of a raw, skater-owned, DIY style that really said we’re here and we’re ready to get rad and have some fun! The image on the T’s will be of the original Xerox/X-acto knife/glue stick cut-and-paste layout of the ad!
