This board is a beast! Measuring in at 11.5” x 32.25” but with the 14.25” wheelbase it still quick turning and nimble for street shralping and curb smashing! Want it a bit more stable for the skatepark or whatever? Then go for the 15” wheelbase. The board also features custom routed wheel wells for extra turning clearance.
And yeah, speaking of a beast, Chris Lambert is one! Chris rode for Blockhead for a short while in 93/94 and then on our sister company Invisible. The late 90’s and early 2000’s were Chris’ beast mode days charging some of the biggest gaps, rails, stairs and all that with all the flip tricks on lock getting the covers of magazines, interviews and contest trophies.
Things almost came screeching to a halt when unattended injuries from those days and then more from the later “SLAM” TV show days left Chris broken to the point he could barely skate anymore. After finally getting on some good health insurance he was able to start getting surgeries and procedures to mend his abused and neglected body.
Now unable to charge the bigger gaps and physically unable to make his ankles work properly to do flip tricks, he had to completely reinvent his skateboarding. Almost a blessing in disguise, this really enabled his creative side come to full bloom. Yeah he still charges and takes the slams but all while just skating for fun and challenging his mind to think outside the box.
Throughout the years Chris has always been a part of our tight friend/ family crew and one of the nicest most positive souls…we all absolutely love Lambert! We’ve had so many fun adventures, road trips and amazing sessions together over the years. So Blockhead releasing a Chris Lambert model for the first time ever is way too long overdue and just a really really special moment for all of us!
In honor of Chris’ Native American heritage and his connection to the land and the animals, Sam Cunningham inked a giant wolf tattoo on his back. This wolf tattoo became the blueprint for this new version that Sam inked for Lammy’s new beast of a board.
