With Jim’s first model doing really well, it was time for an update. People seemed to love Ron Cameron’s raw “Angry Man” illustration so he took this opportunity to rework and refine the background elements. With all the practice of cranking out more and more Blockhead graphics, Ron was really starting to improve and refine his skills and it really shows on this board. We were also starting to figure out how to make the most of color blends and transparent inks to add more shading, colors and unique compositions. The Jim 2 is also the first reissue to be produced on our new “reissue” concave that features more of a upturned spoon nose than the previous Blockhead concave. We’ve been holding off on some models until we could invest in another concave to make sure the reproductions were as spot-on to the originals as possible....so thank you for your continued support so we can keep making cool shit! - Dave B.
